The Trust is seeking to build a new pavilion and indoor hall to replace the current facility which is in disrepair and not fit for purpose. The new facility will provide disabled accessible facilities, and a warm dry indoor space to enable its sport and countryside education programmes to run all year-round. The new build will also support the local community and will remain the home of Belvoir Cricket Club.

From this proposed new facility, the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust aims to grow its reach from 4,000 children to 5-6,000 children per year. It will develop the new facility to serve the local communities in an area of rural deprivation.

Financing

The total cost of building the facility will require in the region of £1.43m .

It is our plan to build the facility in 2 phases due to economic and sound business reasons.

We will need to generate this money from our own sources, funding applications, fundraising events, and other potential sources. Currently we have £490,000 either in the bank or pledged towards the build.

Phase 1

The Pavilion / Clubhouse which will provide a home for the Trust and will incorporate all facilities to enable us to welcome all members of the community including children with special needs.

Estimated cost of phase 1 £830,000

Phase 2

The completion of the indoor centre which will provide indoor facilities for the Trust to develop its charitable activities and providing an indoor facility to be used the whole of the community.

Estimated cost £600,000
