Holiday Sports and Countryside Scheme

Our holiday activity camps provide a safe, fun environment for children to take part in sport and countryside activities when school is closed.

They get to play a variety of sports as well as meeting the animals that live on the estate.

They have quality time to learn new skills and take part in activities that many will not have experienced before such as archery, fishing, golf, and orienteering; they have the opportunity meet and play with new friends in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone is included.

NHS England states: “Evidence shows that children and young people who are more active have more confidence, higher self-esteem, less anxiety and stress, and better social skills – attributes that can help them deal with the challenges they face in daily life. Having a positive attitude towards physical activity has also been associated with children being happier.”
