Duches of Rutland sitting on a garden seat.

2024 has been a brilliant year for the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust and
I am delighted to continue to support the Trust in their ambitious plans.

Seeing the constant flow of happy smiling faces on the Estate is a great source of joy for me, as is the continuing development of the new facility which is much needed for the Trust, and which will enhance the experience of thousands of children.

Children from across the region deserve these opportunities and I know Darren and his team work incredibly hard to make this happen.

We must also not forget that the Trust has over 50 volunteers giving their time which again shows how much people enjoytheir involvement and how much they recognise that all the children deserve the chance to experience this wonderful part of the world.

On a more personal note, it was wonderful to host the Trust’s fundraising dinner here at Belvoir Castle in July and an absolute joy to host two of England’s cricketing legends, Sir Alastair Cook and David Gower OBE for the dinner. They were great fun and some of the stories were brilliant. It was a truly fun night.

Well done team !

Emma Rutland, Duchess of Rutland
