Testimonials

As always, the children (and staff) had an incredible day! The coaches were very knowledgeable and patient, taking time to help those children who needed extra support. The additional activities are always very interesting for our town-based children and allow them to find out more about life in the countryside. The hounds were a massive success!”

“This was an absolutely fantastic day – it was  incredibly well organised. The children were able to enjoy so many different experiences that they would not usually be able to access! A massive thank you from us all and we can’t wait to return next year!”

“My two children aged 10 and 6 absolutely love coming to Belvoir Bees. They look forward to Friday evenings throughout the season and no matter how tired they feel after their week at school they are always excited to arrive at Knipton. The team always make them feel welcome and encourage each child with enthusiasm and positivity to do the best they can regardless of ability or experience.”

“Max has been incredible for the time he has been in the school, being approachable and really easy to work with and just fantastic with the children. All of his sessions are really well planned and adapted really nicely for our pupils with different needs, he has had great success with even some of our most difficult of pupils at times. We also attended a day at the cricket club, which again was really well organised and our pupils got a lot out of it, not only playing cricket but also the added extras of meeting a bird of prey and the hounds. Our pupils look forward to Max coming into school and he really encourages participation and his enthusiasm for cricket is infectious.”

“My daughter and niece have been coming to the Belvoir Bees for the last two years and the fun they have make it their highlight of the week. Thanks to Neil, Darren and the other coaches for putting on such great sessions!”

“My 6 year old daughter has been going to the Belvoir Bees in Knipton for the last two years and it is the highlight of all our weeks. The sessions are always fun and engaging and she is steadily improving her skills. We look forward to coming again next summer”

“Our pupils absolutely loved their day out at Belvoir which included ‘Kwik- Cricket’, throwing and catching, archery, orienteering, birds of prey and meeting hounds. Our pupils come from inner-city Nottingham where the opportunity to participate in these enriching activities is very limited. The BCCT provided them with a highly structured, enriching and fun day out, where they had the opportunity to develop their cricket skills, participate in new sports and develop new skills and talents. Every adult from the BCCT was incredibly personable, helpful, fun and engaged with every pupil.”
– Ronan Cobbe, Welbeck Primary School
“The Summer Cricket and Countryside day was a real success. 100 pupils  enjoying some quality time in the countryside, learning the skills of cricket whilst being in awe of the nature around them. The children loved the wide range of activities available to them during the day and didn’t stop talking about it for weeks after. We’ll definitely be back again next year!”
– Leigh Fox, Headteacher Gaddesby Primary School
“The BCCT always provides a brilliant experience for our students. It is inclusive of all and encourages participation at every level. The coaches are supportive and develop the skills of the students throughout the coaching period. An all round brilliant experience.”

“My daughter and son joined just 4 weeks before the end of the season and I can honestly say they absolutely loved it. They felt welcomed, included and had fun! My 5 year old couldn’t wait for Friday evening to arrive! We are all looking forward to next year.”
