Belvoir Bees Kwik Cricket coaching is back for 2019 with seven venues across the area.
The sessions, led and run by the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust from Easter, are aimed at boys and girls aged six to 11, offering 90 minutes of quality coaching.
There are venues at Melton Mowbray, Grantham, Asfordby, Great Dalby, Croxton Kerrial, Hose and Knipton and they will run for either 11 or 18 weeks depending on location.
Head coach and Trust chief executive Darren Bicknell said: “Our aim is to get children up and active from an early age. They learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and inclusive way, progressing at their own pace, and many go on to join local cricket clubs.”
All sessions run from 6pm to 7.30pm. Knipton includes a session for children aged four and five as well (6pm to 7.15pm)
The first session your child attends is free as a taster and there is no need to book, just turn up on the night and register.
After that there is a small weekly charge or you can purchase a season ticket which allows you to access other Bees venues.
All equipment is provided so just bring a friend and a water bottle!
