Our Project:
The Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust, supported by the Cricket Society are working with around 12 rural primary school’s in 2015 to introduce cricket to children that do not have the opportunity to play either due to a lack of facilities or resources. Cricket was introduced as either part of the school curriculum or as an after school activity.
Schools
Our partner schools for 2015 are to be confirmed in due course.
Our Partners said:
”Really helped bring cricket alive here at Redmile. The sessions were well led and at an appropriate level for the age of our pupils, providing a good balance between learning and practising new skills as well as enjoying all the fun cricket has to offer as a team game. Our school went on to achieve success in a local school competition as well as encouraging many to join clubs outside of school too”
