The Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust deliver 5 weeks of cricket coaching and table cricket to 10 Special Needs Schools across Nottinghamshire, Grantham and Melton.
The Belvoir Castle Cricket Trust works in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club to deliver an end of project table cricket tournament at the Lee Westwood sports centre, Nottingham Trent University.
To complement the winter activity all 10 schools are invited to Belvoir Castle to take part in our Cricket and Countryside Days.

Our Cricket Activities include:
Learning the basics of the game, giving children with both learning and physical disabilities the opportunity to have a go and become active.
For the physically disabled children we introduced for the first time in 2012 Table Cricket.
Our Education activities include:
Meeting the Gamekeeper and learning about the animals and wildlife on the Belvoir Estate
Meeting the Farmer and learning about the types of crops and what those crops can be made into.
Demonstrations from the working dogs on the estate – labradors, retrievers and spaniels and how they interact with their owners.
The chance to see and meet the hounds from the famous ‘Belvoir Hunt’
