Graeme Swann Donates Celebrity Mastermind Winnings

Former England cricket star Graeme Swann swapped the commentator’s chair for TV Mastermind’s famous black chair to support a local charity. Swanny is an ambassador for the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust and triumphed in a celebrity edition of the long running quiz to win a donation from the show. Imogen Skirving – Trustee 2012 – 2016

2016 saw the sad loss of one of our Trustees, Imogen Skirving, who tragically lost her life in a car accident whilst on holiday in July. It is truly sad that we have lost a valued Trustee and member of our team. We knew how much she loved the work of the Trust and we will continue to work to make her proud. In memory of Imogen the Trust have commissioned a new trophy which we have called the ‘Imogen Skirving Trophy’ which will be presented annually to the winning captain of the Duchess of Rutland XI V MCC cricket match.… Read more

Belvoir Bees Kwik Cricket Sessions 2017

Belvoir Bees kwik cricket coaching is back for 2017 with the addition of two new venues. The sessions, led and run by the Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust, are aimed at boys and girls aged six to 11, offering 90 minutes of quality coaching each week. New this summer are sessions at St John’s Primary School in Trent Road, Grantham, every Monday and Asfordby Parish Hall on Tuesdays. The Bees return to Huntingtower Community Primary Academy, Grantham, on Tuesdays, with Great Dalby Cricket Ground and Hose Village Hall on Wednesdays, Harlaxton Sports and Social Club on Thursdays and Belvoir Cricket Club, Knipton, on Fridays.… Read more
